Most adults do want to be pushed—just enough.
They want to feel challenged, capable, and a little stretched. What they don’t want is a bootcamp, a chaotic schedule, or an environment that makes improvement feel stressful.
That’s why adults travel for an adult tennis holiday. They want to play better, feel lighter in their body, and enjoy where they are—without feeling rushed, judged, or over-programmed.
Mallorca creates that balance naturally.
It offers the space to train with intention, recover properly, and enjoy the process again. When the environment feels right, adults move better, think clearer, and start trusting their game again.
This is where tennis improvement stops feeling forced—and starts feeling sustainable.
Tennis Improves Faster When Your Nervous System Calms Down

When adults feel calm, they move better. It’s that simple.
Tension shows up quickly in tennis—tight shoulders, rushed footwork, late contact. For many adult players, it’s not a lack of ability holding them back. It’s mental and physical overload.
Mallorca helps solve that without trying.
The light, the pace of the day, and the space around you allow your nervous system to settle. Once that happens, timing improves. Decision-making gets cleaner. You stop forcing the ball and start trusting your movement again.
This is why we choose environments that support the whole player, not just the training hours. When your body feels safe and rested, learning sticks. Adjustments make sense. And improvement feels sustainable instead of exhausting.
That’s when tennis starts to feel enjoyable again—and progress follows naturally.
Mallorca Without the Chaos – If You Know Where to Play
Mallorca can feel busy. In the wrong places, at the wrong time, it absolutely can.
That’s exactly why Port de Sóller works so well for an adult tennis holiday—if you know where to play.
Being about 35 minutes from Palma International Airport turns out to be a real advantage. You’re close enough for an easy arrival, but far enough removed that the energy changes almost immediately. There’s a sense of space here that’s hard to find in more central or resort-heavy areas of the island.
Hotel Es Port is a big part of that feeling. The property itself is an oasis. The grounds are expansive and quiet, with mature gardens, shaded paths, and places to sit and decompress between training sessions. Many guests realize quickly that there’s actually no need to leave the hotel at all—it offers a true break from everyday pace and pressure.
And yet, when you do want to explore, everything feels easy.
The Port is right outside the gates, lined with small shops, cafés, restaurants, and relaxed bars along the harbor. It’s charming and walkable, without the noise or rush that can drain energy.
A short, old-fashioned tram ride takes you into the town of Sóller, where local artisan shops, Mallorquin food, and a traditional town square make the experience feel genuinely special. It’s the kind of place where time slows down naturally.
With nearby villages like Deià and Valldemossa, and Palma close enough for a day trip, you get access to the best of Mallorca—without being swallowed by it.
That balance is what makes this destination work so well for adults who want to train, reset, and enjoy where they are at the same time.
Why Port de Sóller Works So Well for Adult Players
Port de Sóller is a place that naturally supports how adults learn and play.
It’s walkable, contained, and easy to settle into. You’re not dealing with long drives, crowded streets, or constant decisions. That simplicity matters more than people realize—especially when you’re training and asking your body to adapt.
Mornings feel unhurried. Afternoons invite recovery. Evenings are social without being loud. That rhythm creates a sense of balance that adult players respond to almost immediately.
For many adults, improvement doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from doing things in the right order. Train, recover, eat well, sleep, repeat. Port de Sóller makes that feel natural rather than forced.
You’re surrounded by mountains and the sea, which brings a sense of perspective that’s hard to find in busier resort towns. The pace here encourages presence. When you’re not mentally scattered, your focus on court improves.
This is why Port de Sóller works so well for adult players. It removes friction from the day and allows tennis to fit into life smoothly, instead of competing with it.
Hotel Es Port: An Oasis That Lets Adults Truly Reset

Hotel Es Port is a big reason this tennis holiday works so well for adults.
The hotel sits slightly removed from the busier parts of the Port, and you feel that immediately. The moment you walk onto the property, the pace changes. The grounds are expansive and calm, with mature gardens, shaded paths, and plenty of quiet space to move, sit, or simply be still.
For adult players, that matters.
There is no pressure to be anywhere. No noise competing for your attention. Between training sessions, you can walk the grounds, take a swim, use the spa, or rest without interruption. Many guests quickly realize there is no real need to leave the hotel at all. Everything required to reset mentally and physically is already there.
That sense of ease carries onto the court. When adults are sleeping well, eating well, and recovering properly, training becomes more productive. Adjustments land more clearly. The body responds instead of resisting.
At the same time, nothing feels isolating. Shared meals, quiet conversations by the pool, and relaxed evenings create natural connection without forcing social energy. Players get to know each other in a way that feels comfortable and genuine.
This is what makes Hotel Es Port such a strong partner in an adult tennis holiday. It supports focus without intensity and rest without boredom. For many players, it becomes part of the reason they return.
Who This Tennis Holiday Is (and Isn’t) For
This adult tennis holiday is designed for players who already play and want to improve in a focused, supportive environment.
We work with adults at the improver, intermediate, and advanced levels. Players are grouped by level so rallies are fair, coaching is relevant, and everyone feels comfortable on court. That balance is essential for confidence and progress.
This experience works best for adults who:
Enjoy being challenged without feeling overwhelmed
Value small groups and personal feedback
Want real coaching that transfers to match play
Appreciate a calm, high-quality destination alongside tennis
It is not designed for beginners who are just starting out and need group-based fundamentals. In our experience, beginner adults improve much faster through private lessons rather than group camps, which is why we no longer offer beginner group programs.
Keeping levels aligned creates a better experience for everyone. Players relax faster, connect more easily, and stay engaged throughout the week. The social side feels natural because no one is struggling to keep up or holding others back.
That clarity is intentional. When adults know the environment fits them, they show up more confidently and get far more out of the experience.
What Training Looks Like During an Adult Tennis Holiday
Training runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., which gives adults a consistent rhythm without feeling overworked.
Each week is progressive. We blend technique, footwork, and strategy in a way that makes sense for adult club players who regularly play matches. The goal is not to overload you with information, but to build clarity and confidence as the week unfolds.
The first two hours each day focus on structured training with a mix of drills and live-ball work. We spend a lot of time on contact points, shot selection, and court positioning because those are the areas that most directly affect match results. Everything we work on has a purpose and a clear connection to real play.
The final hour is match play. Every day, you work on your serve right before heading into points so the technical work carries directly into competitive situations. This is one of the reasons we keep levels carefully matched. When players are evenly grouped, rallies flow, patterns make sense, and match play becomes productive instead of stressful.
The week is organized with a clear focus each day:
Monday: Forehand fundamentals and patterns
Tuesday: Backhand development and stability
Wednesday: Volleys and net positioning
Thursday: Advanced volley work and doubles patterns
Friday: Video analysis and individualized focus based on what players need most
By Friday, the training adapts to the group. We revisit areas that need reinforcement and spend more time on what will help each player most going forward.
This structure works because it respects how adults learn. You’re challenged, but not rushed. You build skills step by step, and you leave with a clearer understanding of your game rather than a list of disconnected tips.
Best Time of Year to Travel for an Adult Tennis Holiday in Mallorca
Mallorca offers a long tennis-friendly season, but some months work better than others for adult players.
The most popular times for our adult tennis holidays are spring and fall.
April through June offers warm days, comfortable training temperatures, and longer daylight hours without the heavy summer heat. Courts play well, recovery is easier, and days feel energetic without being draining.
September and October are another ideal window. The sea is still warm, the pace of the island slows down after summer, and temperatures are excellent for extended time on court. Many adults find fall especially enjoyable because the island feels more relaxed while conditions remain ideal for training.
Summer can be hot, and while Mallorca is beautiful year-round, we intentionally schedule our adult tennis holidays when players can train well, recover properly, and enjoy being active without feeling worn down.
Choosing the right time of year matters. Adults improve more when conditions support consistent effort rather than survival. Comfortable temperatures allow for better movement, clearer focus, and a more enjoyable overall experience on and off the court.
Marbella works especially well for focused winter training. If you’re considering a tennis week later in the year, when conditions are warmer and the pace is a little easier, take a look at our adult programs in Mallorca and Andalucía.
If Our Dates Don’t Fit Your Schedule

We understand that many adults only have a very specific window to travel.
Work, family, and life commitments don’t always line up perfectly with set camp dates. If our Mallorca tennis holidays don’t match your timing or playing level, we still want you to have a great training option.
In those cases, we’re happy to recommend the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, or their location in Cancún, Mexico.
They run programs year-round, work with all playing levels, and have the scale to manage different abilities at the same time. With over 55 courts, they’re able to offer flexibility that smaller, level-specific camps simply can’t.
We’ve partnered with them for more than three years, and members of our community can use our promo code to receive up to 15% off training programs and accommodations.
It’s a different model than ours, and that’s intentional. We run small, level-matched groups because it creates a more focused, social, and effective experience for adult players. When that model doesn’t fit your schedule, the Rafa Nadal Academy is a strong alternative.
Either way, the goal is the same.
You get quality coaching, train in the right environment, and continue improving your game.
