Tennis in Spain is good.
Tennis in Mallorca is different.
Players don’t come here once and check it off a list. They come back because the experience works — for their bodies, their schedules, and their tennis. Mallorca makes improvement feel sustainable. You train well, recover properly, and still enjoy your days instead of collapsing by day three.
That balance matters, especially for adult players.
Here, tennis fits into life instead of taking it over. You train on real clay courts, finish sessions feeling worked but not wrecked, and step straight into normal island rhythm — a walk, a swim, a good meal, an early night if you want one. Nothing forced. Nothing chaotic.
Mallorca is also easy. Flights are efficient, transfers are short, and you’re on court quickly. When travel doesn’t drain you, your focus stays where it should: on your tennis. That ease alone is one of the biggest reasons players rebook.
But what keeps them coming back is how well the island supports real improvement. Clay slows the game down. The climate allows consistency. And the environment encourages patience, recovery, and better decision-making. Adult players don’t leave feeling burned out — they leave playing smarter.
That’s why Mallorca works.
Why Europeans Rebook — And Why Americans Are Catching On

For European players, Mallorca is a natural choice.
Flights are short and frequent. You can leave after work, arrive the same day, and be on court the next morning. That kind of access changes how people use tennis travel. Instead of a once-a-year trip, adult tennis in Mallorca becomes something players return to regularly because it fits into real life.
The weather is reliable. The conditions are familiar. The experience delivers what it promises. When expectations are met consistently, rebooking becomes easy.
American players are just starting to catch on.
With direct flights from cities like New York and Miami, Mallorca has shifted from a far-off idea to a realistic training destination — and quickly became one of our strongest locations for adult tennis holidays. Once American players experience extended training on European clay, the game changes. Points slow down. Movement improves. Patience sharpens. You leave playing a calmer, more complete version of your game.
What surprises many Americans most is the balance. Tennis happens in the morning. Life happens after. A swim. A walk. A long dinner. That rhythm is rare — and once players experience it, they want it again.
Mallorca doesn’t rush you. And that’s exactly why it works.
Climate and Clay: Why Mallorca Makes Improvement Easier

One of the biggest reasons players improve faster in Mallorca is simple: the conditions don’t fight you.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, training plans stay consistent. Spring and early summer are ideal. Sessions run smoothly without constant weather adjustments, and recovery becomes part of the process instead of an afterthought.
Then there’s the clay.
Clay forces honesty. Footwork matters. Point construction matters. You can’t rush. You can’t hide. For adult players, this is where real change happens.
Clay exposes habits — late positioning, impatience, poor recovery — but it also gives you time to fix them. You learn to reset points, stay composed, and trust patterns. When players return home to hard courts, everything feels slower and more manageable.
Mallorca also does clay properly. Courts are well maintained and part of everyday tennis culture. You’re not adapting to unfamiliar setups or fighting for space. You’re learning the game the way it’s meant to be learned.
That combination — reliable weather and real clay — is why improvement here sticks.
Where We Run Adult Tennis Camps in Mallorca

Port de Sóller — Our Flagship Mallorca Location
This is our only adult tennis holiday location in Mallorca, and the place most players return to year after year. Camps are intentionally small — capped at 12 international adult players — so coaching stays personal and the atmosphere stays relaxed. With a 1:4 coach-to-player ratio, players get real feedback, not just ball feeds.
Groups are organized by playing level to keep sessions fair and productive. We work with both clay and hard courts, helping players build adaptability instead of comfort on one surface. Coaching is always in English, with a focus on match play, decision-making, and confidence under pressure.
The setting matters just as much as the tennis. The sea is steps away. The Tramuntana mountains sit behind you. Everything is walkable. Players swim after sessions, sleep well, and recover properly between days.
Many players tell us they leave feeling physically better than when they arrived. That’s not accidental — it’s the result of doing the right amount of work in the right environment.
This is not a high-volume operation. It’s calm, consistent, and designed for adult players who want progress without burnout.
Mallorca, Andalucía, and Marbella: How to Choose the Right Season

We run our adult programs intentionally — by season and by playing level.
-
- Marbella runs in winter only and is designed for club players preparing for spring league matches. It’s tennis-focused, structured, and efficient.
-
- Mallorca runs in spring and summer and attracts players looking for serious tennis within a true holiday lifestyle. Smaller groups, refined pacing, and strong rebooking rates.
-
- Andalucía runs spring, summer, and fall and offers beachfront locations with excellent value. It works well for a wider range of adult levels and players looking for a relaxed but social training environment.
There may be seasonal overlap, but the experiences are different by design. We separate programs by level so training stays fair and enjoyable for everyone.
Beginner Adults & When We Recommend the Rafa Nadal Academy

We work exclusively with improver, intermediate, and advanced adult players in group camps.
That’s a deliberate choice.
True beginners often need more hours, more repetition, and a different structure than small-group camps can provide. For those players — or when our dates or levels don’t line up — we recommend the Rafa Nadal Academy.
The academy runs year-round programs for adults in Mallorca and Cancún, Mexico, including Christmas and New Year periods when we’re not running camps. It’s a fully structured, performance-focused environment with extensive daily training options.
Beginner adults often progress faster there because of the volume and consistency. Players should know it’s an early-night, early-morning setup with limited nightlife — ideal for those ready to commit fully to training.
We offer our COSTADELTENNIS promo code for eligible Rafa Nadal Academy programs and accommodations in both Mallorca and Cancún as a trusted alternative when it’s the better fit.
Life Beyond the Court
Mallorca isn’t just a place to train. Tennis is part of everyday life here.
Clubs are active. Cafés fill up between sessions. Locals play early mornings and evenings. Tennis doesn’t feel separate from life — it blends into it.
Off the court, the island naturally slows you down. Walks by the sea. Simple food done well. Quiet evenings that support recovery. That rhythm is a big reason adult players feel mentally and physically better by the end of the week.
Mallorca gives you permission to take tennis seriously without losing balance.
