Marbella Adult Tennis Camp — Built for Focused Training, Not a Resort Week

A 5-day tennis camp for adults who want serious court time before their club season — solo travelers and teams both welcome, as long as you know this is a training week, not a resort stay. (15 hours from €490)

Warm-weather clay court coaching in southern Spain, designed to help recreational adult club players sharpen their patterns, clean up their footwork, and build match rhythm before the spring season at home.

Our Marbella camps run from January through early spring, giving you consistent sun, focused small-group training, and the kind of repetition that helps your game settle in early — instead of scrambling to find timing two matches into league play.

Why Marbella Works

If you’re looking for a full lifestyle experience with on-site dining and amenities, our Mallorca or Andalucía camps are built for that instead. This is a tennis club, not a resort — hotel accommodation is simple and steps from the courts, with everything else a short walk away.

Marbella sits on Spain’s southern coast, where sunshine is almost a guarantee. With more than 320 days of sun a year, minimal rain, and a steady coastal breeze, conditions stay comfortable for clay-court match play even in early spring.

The Royal Tennis Club and on-site hotel are just 35 minutes from Málaga Airport (AGP), with daily low-cost flights from across Europe. Getting here is simple — a direct airport bus to Marbella, followed by a short taxi ride to the club. Your room is just steps from the clay courts.

The Royal Tennis Club isn’t a resort. It’s a respected tennis venue that regularly hosts ITF Junior and Challenger events. Recreational adult club players feel at home here because it offers what actually matters: real clay, strong practice rhythm, and a calm coastal setting that supports focused training without pressure.

On site, you’ll find a quality restaurant for lunch and dinner, plus a café nearby for coffee before morning sessions. Everything stays close — tennis, accommodation, and recovery — so your week remains simple and intentional.

Some players like to review a few fundamentals before arriving in Marbella. If you want to refresh one of the most important shots in the game, you can read our guide on how to build a consistent tennis serve on Indie Tenis.

Coaching with Rhonda

I’ll be there on Day 1, on court with you — assessing contact points, movement patterns, and how your game holds up in live rallies. We start the week together, including our opening dinner, so you feel settled from the beginning.

After that, you’ll train with a hand-picked team of certified coaches who teach with the same calm, focused approach. Coaching here is built for recreational adult club players who want smarter tennis without gimmicks or overcomplication.

Each session sharpens the details that matter most: cleaner groundstrokes, more confident net play, practical doubles patterns, and match-play decisions you can trust. Our coaches teach in English, the groups stay small, and the goal stays simple — you leave more confident, more comfortable, and ready to compete when your season begins.

What Players Say

Marbella is our newest location, but the coaching, small groups, and international mix of players follow the same trusted approach adults love about Costa del Tennis. Here’s what players have shared about their experience.

I enjoyed every minute.

Playing tennis, trying to get better, get exhausted, meet new people from different cultures, having a couple of drinks and good discussions.
This all makes me very happy!!! Can’t wait for my next camp…

For me, it was a life changing experience!

I’m loving playing since I’ve been back and all their great tips are becoming more natural. It’s even helped me make a more positive impact at my company.
I’m hooked again!!!

DAVID // USA

Overall, I rank this tennis camp experience as top notch.

The groups are smaller than those very commercial camps that entertain dozens and dozens of people.
The training was excellent (I had never won my club’s tournament…until now) and I made friends for life.
I am planning on going back.

Marbella FAQs

Our Marbella adult tennis camps run from January through April 2026. It’s the perfect way to prepare for your club season back home with sunshine, focused coaching, and match play before your local courts even open.

These camps are built for Improver to Intermediate-Advanced adults who already play and want to play better. We group by level so your coaching makes sense and rallies feel fair.

You’ll train three hours each morning on clay, Monday through Friday. Afternoons are free for recovery, exploring, or extra practice if you’d like.

Absolutely. Most players come on their own, and you’ll fit in quickly. The groups are friendly, international, and everyone’s here for the same reason: to improve their game, sharpen their match play, and enjoy a great week on court.

For convenience, many players choose to stay at the on-site Royal Tennis Hotel, located directly at the tennis club. It’s a practical option for those who value proximity to the courts.

Accommodation is not mandatory, and players are free to stay wherever they’re most comfortable. Some choose hotels or apartments in Marbella, typically a short drive from the club. We’re happy to share general guidance, but accommodation is booked independently.
