Why Andalucia Works
Novo Sancti Petri, on Andalucía’s Cádiz coast, brings together what recreational adult club players actually want in a tennis week: proper clay courts, true beachfront hotels, and a seaside rhythm that makes training feel natural instead of rushed.
From March through early November, daytime temperatures typically range between 22–30°C (mid-70s to mid-80s°F). Light Atlantic breezes help keep conditions comfortable on court, especially during longer morning sessions.
The Hipotels Barrosa beachfront area offers three excellent options in one setting: Hipotels Barrosa Park (open year-round), Hipotels Barrosa Palace & Spa (5-star), and Hipotels Playa La Barrosa (adults only). All three sit directly on La Barrosa Beach and are just a short walk from one another.
We train at one dedicated clay-court club, a 3–5 minute walk from the hotels — seven clay courts, an indoor padel facility, and an experienced coaching team who know how to work with adult recreational players. There’s a spot for lunch on site, and a free hotel shuttle if you’d rather not walk. Keeping everyone at one venue all week means no shuffling between locations — just a short, easy walk each morning.
Many adult players like to review a few fundamentals before their training week. If you’d like a simple overview of how adult players actually improve, you can explore this guide on how to play tennis better without overwhelming yourself on Indie Tenis.
Travel is straightforward:
- Jerez Airport (XRY) — approx. 45–55 minutes, small and easy to navigate
- Seville Airport (SVQ) — approx. 1 hour 30–40 minutes
- Málaga Airport (AGP) — approx. 2.5 hours
If you stay with Hipotels, airport transfers can be arranged directly through the hotel, so there’s no need to rent a car. When you inquire, I’ll also send details for the Costa del Tennis hotel promo code (up to 15% off, subject to availability; not available in July).
Beyond tennis, Andalucía offers real Spanish life — historic Cádiz, nearby white villages, and relaxed beachside tapas. It’s an easy balance of focused mornings on court and slower afternoons by the sea.
Outside peak season, this destination also works well as a quiet, economical training week — for individuals, teams, or a weekend tune-up. Hipotels Barrosa Park stays open year-round, with a spa, heated indoor pool, and heated rooms, making March, April, and May genuinely comfortable months on court, at considerably better hotel rates than summer.
How Coaching Works in Andalucía
This week is built for recreational adult club players who want their tennis to feel clearer and more reliable — without pressure. Groups stay small (max 12 players, 1:4 ratio), so you’re always hitting, moving, and receiving feedback that actually translates into matches.
Training runs Monday to Friday in focused morning sessions. We emphasize clean contact points, smart doubles patterns, and match-ready decisions most adults actually use.
I’m on court at the start of the week to assess levels and set the tone. From there, training is delivered by our trusted coaching team in Andalucía, who teach with the same calm, focused approach. The experience stays consistent and organized, while the overall rhythm of the week remains relaxed.

Beachfront Hipotels — Easy, Calm, and Ideal for a Tennis Week
Our Andalucía camps partner with three 4–5 star Hipotels properties, all set directly on La Barrosa Beach. The hotels are connected by a flat seaside promenade, so everything feels walkable and unrushed — ideal for a relaxed adult tennis week.
The clay courts are a short walk away, beach cafés sit just behind the sand, and the entire area has a calm, grown-up feel that makes it easy to settle into a rhythm of morning tennis and slower afternoons by the sea.
- Hipotels Barrosa Park (open year-round) — spacious rooms, large pools, a casual coastal atmosphere, and the closest walk to the courts. Not adults-only, so it also suits teams and mixed groups. Spa and heated indoor pool make it the pick for cooler-season training.
- Hipotels Barrosa Palace & Spa — a quieter, more refined setting with sea views and a full spa.
- Hipotels Playa La Barrosa — adults-only, a peaceful option with direct beach access.
All three are well-reviewed and work seamlessly with the tennis schedule. When you inquire about the week, we’ll share the Costa del Tennis hotel promo code (up to 15% off, subject to availability; not available in July).
Airport transfers can be arranged directly through the hotels, so there’s no need to rent a car. Jerez Airport (XRY) is the closest at 45–55 minutes. Seville Airport (SVQ) is another convenient option at roughly 1 hour 40 minutes, especially if you’d like to add a city stay before or after your tennis week.

Partners often spend their mornings walking or relaxing along La Barrosa Beach, enjoying the hotel pools and spa, or heading out for a café or lunch nearby. The area is flat, calm, and very walkable.
